hello@ourbabyday.com — usually answered within two business days.
If something went wrong in the app, three things make it much faster to fix: what you tapped, what happened instead of what you expected, and the version you are on. Open Settings and tap the version line at the very bottom — it copies itself, and pastes as something like “Version 1.0.0 (10030)”.
Do I need an account?
No. The sign-in screen has a skip button, and everything on your own phone works without one — your logs stay on the device and in your own iCloud backup. An account is what makes two things possible: sharing a baby with another caregiver, and Ask, which needs a server to answer. You can sign in later without losing anything you already logged. The subscription is a separate thing: it is bought from Apple and belongs to your Apple ID, not to an account with us.
Sharing with a co-parent or carer
Open Settings › Caregivers and invite someone. They get a code to enter on their own phone, which drops them straight into your baby’s timeline. Codes expire after seven days, you choose whether the person can log entries or only view the day, and you can remove anyone later.
What it costs, and what is included
Our Baby Day is a subscription app. There is no separate tier and nothing is held back: feeds, sleep, diapers, pumping, solids, tummy time, growth, milestones, health and photos; the widgets, Control Center buttons, Siri and the Live Activity; every chart range and every day of her history; the day forecast and her night scores; family sharing; importing from another app and exporting your own data; and Ask.
It is $89.99 a year — $7.50 a month, against $179.88 for twelve months bought one at a time — and eligible new subscribers start with 7 days free. If notifications are on, the app reminds you two days before the trial ends. There is also a month-to-month plan at $14.99 a month, which carries no trial.
One subscription covers your whole family. Someone who joins by invite code — a partner, a grandparent, a nanny — is covered by it and is never asked to buy anything.
If a subscription ends
Nothing is locked away. Her history stays readable at full range, and you can still export all of it — a spreadsheet, a PDF for the doctor, or a full backup with her photos — for as long as you want it. You can still edit or delete an entry, and a timer that is already running can always be stopped, from anywhere. What pauses is starting new things: logging a fresh entry, the quick-log widgets and Siri phrases, and importing. Ask keeps answering questions about what you have already logged; it just cannot log anything new for you.
Restoring a purchase
New phone, or reinstalled the app? Settings › Subscription › Restore purchases — and the same Restore sits on the subscribe screen itself. Purchases belong to the Apple ID that made them, so restore while signed in to that account.
Changing or canceling a subscription
Settings › Subscription › Manage subscription opens Apple’s own sheet; you can also get there from the iPhone’s Settings app under your name, in Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before a renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. Refunds are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Deleting your data
Settings › Data › Delete all data clears this phone when you are signed out. Signed in, it clears your family’s logs for every caregiver, not only your copy. Settings › Account › Delete account goes further: your profile and sign-in are permanently removed from the servers, and so is any family only you belong to, with its babies, records and photos. In a family you share with other caregivers, the entries and photos you added stay with the family. The phone you delete from starts over, logs included. Neither one cancels a subscription — that stays with your Apple Account until you cancel it with Apple.
How her forecast works
The nap forecast on Today comes from your baby’s own last fourteen days, worked out on your phone — not from a table of other babies. The ten rules it follows, and the one number it takes from outside, are written down in full on How her forecast works.
Ask, and what it is not
Ask answers from the records you have kept, using an AI model. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it can be wrong. Check anything that matters with your pediatrician, midwife, nurse or doctor, and in an emergency contact emergency services.
The rest
Answers collects the longer explanations — logging without unlocking your phone, sharing with a partner, moving your history over from another app.
Privacy Policy and Terms of Use cover what happens to your data and the terms you are using the app under.
